Get 1 point deducted for fielding an ineligible player, but <strong style="font-weight: normal;">Altrincham get 18 points deducted

Anyone else find that really unfair?

    Ah but,

The Bury player only played one game as an ineligible player (as sub), whereas the Altrincham player played 18 games.

    RE: That explains that then

It was actually the number of points they got while fielding an ineligible player. They fielded one in one game that was a 1-1 draw, whilst the other team got 18 points in games where the ineligible player was playing.

Unlikely to make a similar mistake.
