Two found dead in bus station Two men found dead in Barnsley's bus station are believed to have been sleeping rough. Police were called to the Transport Interchange at 4.25am on Saturday but the men were already dead. The men, aged 26 and 36, are thought to have been local but have not been named. A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The deaths are not being treated as suspicious at this stage. "It's believed the men had been sleeping rough at this location over night. "A post mortem to establish the cause of death has yet to be arranged." Officers said they could not speculate on whether the atrocious weather conditions overnight had anything to do with the tragedy. Later they said they had established that the two men had been sitting together for some time on the ground outside the Midland Street entrance to the interchange. The spokesman said: "The inquiry team would like to hear from anyone who may have seen them between midnight and 4am."
