let me firstly say that I cannot stand Man Utd...ok that said let me go on (as I tend to Do) over the years no matter what anyone thinks of them they have been one of the worlds greatest teams, giving the world some truly great players, and two outstanding managers. Now onto the "Babes" I personally would have no qualms if every team in Britain paid them the respect of the silence pre kick off. These where young men in their prime and some yet to be that. They were cut off in a Tragic event. All feelings about Man U or any other team should be put aside..its a mark of respect to these lads...and one of our own I may add... I do not think any fan in the world does not show respect to the ones lost at Hillsborough, Bradford, Heyshall or Ibrox..... and in that vein neither shoud we disrespect the boys who passed away at Munich. I again will tell you I am a very very anti Man Utd Fan...but I will respect and pay my respects to the Busby Babes ..rest in Peace boys...we have been robbed of your talents , but you have been robbed of your lives.
Fine sentiments and agree on all counts, but let's not forget that 23 people died in that crash, not just the eight famous ones.
absolutely..which is also why the minutes silence is sooo important here and it should be made apparent too
