the thing is if he does turn us down where do we go from there, any manager with principle would not want to be third choice because two others have turned it down. Who would we be looking at then someone give me a clue because i am lost now

If that was to happen the job would look like the 'poisoned chalice' in a lot of respects and it wouldn't exactly help us to recruit. I imagine if that did happen we'll stick with Flicker until the end of the season and then start all over again. We certainly could not afford to be turned down by a third manager so I don't think we'd take the risk.
