Can anyone recommend a butchers where I can get a decent sized pork pie? I need what I'd describe as a family sized one as a gift.

    Thanks in advance.

A pork pie ,now the secrets out ,this is what the top restaurants use for there pork pies in the area .They like to keep these things secret. so now whistle blowing in a small village called jump is Percy turners Butchers on church street just off the main road up hill ,different size pies are made fresh every day .
small unassuming Butchers also recommended to me by a former Butcher on his meat being fresh and of good quality.
You can also get them from the former post office now sandwich shop in plats common opposite the former Wm club, charlies

Birkinshaws in Mapplewell. May have to order a large one though as they always sell out.
