We have a better goalie than Butland, that's for sure. I don't care if he is a hottie and called Jack.

    Think he is.

Personally, I think there's little between them. Both good shot stoppers, at closing down the striker one on one, but both lack command of their box and can't count kicking as a decent attribute.

Think Butland edges it on the basis of being much younger. Lovely bloke, too. As is Luke.

But looking at our side, Glynn, surely you'd say that goalkeeper is the one position we do have a Championship quality performer in. One of the best, on his day, which are many, yesterday being the latest example.

I think your bonkers Whitey but Steele having the better defence for the last 10 games or so.
    Steeles avg against about 1.9
    Butland 1.1.

Steels been playing with a better defence in the last 10 or so games.

Butlands a very good goalkeeper and thats why leeds went out and got him.
Best Goalkeeper available, Best striker available.
It was a late bid to get into play offs.

    Goalkeepers do make a difference.

It's about confidence. Muller gave the defence confidence and so did Butland at Oakwell and thats why until butland went back he was conceding about 1 goal per game less than Steele and pollitt.

Yes but as you say, your mate is a Leeds ST holder which i am afraid is no qualification. Butland for me every time.

That sentence was typed by someone with bonkers disease.

Aye, because it's all down to Steele/Butland how many the other team score.

    You're repeating yourself.

    I agree.

    Perhaps.

He's certainly done that. They've conceded 9 goals with him in two games.

We've won more games, accrued more points with Steele than Butland.
