That means he is staying then.

I was mentally spending the tribunal fee.

Isn't it about time we stopped The Don giving interviews to the media. Every time he opens his big trap he contradicts everything his manager says. Look at what Keith Hill has said about Jacob:

“I have a strong reltationship with him and he would develop here as a player. But I am not going to put pressure on him. You don’t give deadlines to important people. I don’t want to be aggressive in negotiations. Jacob is exercising his right to look at what is out there.”

Compare this with what The Don was saying earlier this month when he spoke of deadlines that couldn't possibly exist and Jacob messing us about. It's about time he just shut the **** up.

My thoughts exactly, and they've been that way for some time.

If I want honesty, and facts out of BFC, I'll wait for King Keith.

    The Don talks ******.

This deadline business seems hugely unlikely to me. Surely the only forfeit we could impose for missing any deadline would be to withdraw the contract offer. As I understand the rules, if there's no offer on the table then we have to all intents released him and we couldn't demand a fee for him even if he is under 24.

I agree with Jay. Sometimes the comments Don comes out with makes him sound like the Chemical/Comical Ali of BFC.

Rowing's out of his depth and holding us back in my opinion

Not his fault, he's just not up to being the focus of a Football Club.

To be fair to The Don he is in an impossible situation. He's the spokesman for the club and he probably gets brief less than we do.
