Seriously gutted about today's news. I hope Michael Brown (and Simon Grayson) is very proud of himself tonight. We badly missed Butterfield's guile yesterday and his ability to shoot from distance. A few on here have suggested we can manage without him, well I guess we're going to find out now over the coming weeks. This transfer window is going to be crucial for our prospects for the rest of the season. We now need two midfield players, a creative influence as well as a ball winner. I'm also disappointed that Haynes is leaving as I thought he looked sharp in recent weeks when coming off the bench. With his departure we need to bring in another striker with a bit of pace and preferably a bit of guile. Will Hill look to the loan market or has he earmarked a couple of lower league nuggets? Going to be interesting finding out...
I honestly can't see Grayson being anything to do with it, he has never struck me as being that way out. Just because he is manager of Leeds doesn't make him the devil incarnate. Brown on the other hand, always been a nasty, dirty little *****, he needs to do something to make up for being a cr@p footballer I suppose. My money would be on it being all his own work.
