Absolutley

Don't get me wrong sitting in Curva Nord with your blue and black scarf on watching all flags waving and flares getting set off is like being in another world, but a tasty yorkshire derby like this is can't be missed,90 mins of pure tension tommorrow.

By the way to put it into perspective we paid £13 to watch Adriano play other week, what we paying this week to see Andy Booth £18??? LOL

Need to try and start off a bit of Ultra style support at Barnsley! Them Italians have got it sorted when it comes to supporting your team, put us to shame

I'll tell you now if you don't sing in Curva Nord you better be prepared to face the verbal backlash of the conductors who hang off railings at front! LOL

I like them geezers who just rock up with a tannoy and don't watch a second of the game. Its a bit like Albatross but he doesn't need a tannoy.

Apparently the club pays for these tannoy boys to go to the game???

    Yeah they are well funny

When we went there was a protest by Ultras before game, basically a few months ago Inter played away at Messina i think and a certain section of the nerrazzurri away support was racially abusing a Messina player(which is bonkers considering number of Black players Inter have) anyway he was gonna walk off until Adriano persuaded him to stay and play on.

The upshot of this a month or so later was the jailing for 5 years of one of the Ultra's,now by all accounts according to this Fanzine seller we was speaking to,the Italian police basically picked on one and banged him up with no proper evidence! At wednesdays match aginst Villareal you could see a banner "Liberata Tommy'

Any road at match the central sections of the Curva Nord didn't go into their seats until just after kickoff, they don't have police or stewards where Ultras go,so it was some of the top boys who weren't letting people through. One of em looked a right psycho, bald head, bushy eyebrows, and a mean stare. There was quite a bit of congestion in concourse, which at one point looke like it might get a bit dangerous when they let you through gangway

It all added to experience,we learnt a few songs while we were waiting and probably got high as well due to amount of weed getting smoked.A different experience entirely to England.

You're right what you say about em not watching game, all they do is get the crowd going through megaphones with their back to game, its fantastic to watch

    AMALA PAZZA INTER AMALA

Thank **** I sat at the opposite end above.....

the Fiorentina fans then. Weirdest thing I have ever seen at a football ground that day. We went into the ground about 20 minutes before kick off and went to find our seats. No fecker in the ground at all apart from the far end which was packed and I mean packed. The Ultras had filled a complete stand are were setting off fire crackers and singing to themselves.

Brilliant to watch. Apparently it had been like that for an hour or so before we even got there.

    What a contrast to England

Where all singers and yobs turn up just as game kicks off, where as in Italy the same type of folk are in a hour and half before kickoff to hang their banners up and get atmosphere going.

Another point about my previous post regarding Ultra's,where in this country would you get that type of soladarity from fans if one of em had been arrested,no where is the answer, they have got it sorted them boys i tell you,we could learn a lot from their way of support, leave out the nasty bits though.

    Can't wait to go back

The ultras are the equivilent to the Barnsley Five-o or West Ham ICF etc etc.
    Dont believe otherwise.
