Joined us in the Division one we are now in the Championship - our club is in credit to the tune of one league. Joined on a free and we sell him for 500K - our club is in credit to the tune of 500K. In my simplistic eyes and looking at the facts above I think we can agree the boy has done a good shift for us and contributed to the upturn in our clubs position over the last few years. Also he has given us memories that I didn't even envisage I would encounter as a Barnsley fan. So, thank you. Am I happy he is leaving - No but if he's no longer an asset to the team then it's best to move him on. It's not the first time we have sold one of our better players and it won't be the last - I'm not saying we should lie down apathetically and accept this but I think a degree of common sense has to used when realising the economics of our club and what we're up against. Personally I couldn't give a rats arse where he goes but he's gone and we should turn our attentions to what we do have ie the team and support them the best we can. ix
