C Corke

Assite admin on the BBS for the last couple of years (from a far I might add) I find it repulsive that the few people that work their nuts off hour after hour for this forum and it's members are taken to the cleaners by certain individuals.</p>

People who put their time and effort in for the benefit of others for free and especially one where it costs large amounts of money month in month out should not be taken for granted. Without the likes of Paul, Cazi, farnham et al there wouldn't be a BBS for us all to access every day for free.</p>

I have never met or plan to meet anybody convicted of any crime never mind sexual crime although over the last few days of reading this I feel that I should be paying a cheque to the makers of pornographic material. I have 2 small children myself and I find any crime against children disgraceful however having mine and my fellow Site admin names dragged in is even moreso disrespectful.</p>

As far as I am aware site admin do their best to keep this site legal and to also protect it's members as best as they can. I don't know who deleted it but I am 100% certain it was done with very best interests of all concerned. Maybe that was a mistake? Maybe it wasn't but least of all it was made with the best intentions.</p>

Anyway long live the BBS. Its like a football team. No one person is bigger or more important than the team. So why let it spoil it.</p>

But surely anyone doing something for the right reasons would have absolutly no problem saying what those reasons are.

I am struggling, really struggling, to see ANY reason why a thread concerning barnsley fc news relating to a convicted paedophile is removed dispite not even coming close to being illegal yet threads that are very close to the knuckle on practically every other subject are allowed to stay.
In fact threads condemning paedophilia are allowed to stay normally on this site and have done quite often in the past yet when the persons name is changed from gary glitter, or someone else to chris corke then suddenly the thread is deemed unsuitable whilst at the same time a thread with potentially libellous comments by windy about someone else is allowed to stay.

I'm sure that even as site admin you can see this from the point of view of others and you have to wonder yourself just why exactly one of the site admin team felt the need to remove threads (more than one on the same day I believe) simply because they concerned tommy tyke. Why is he treated differently to all other convicted sex offenders who we are allowed to post about?

If I were you I would be disappointed too, disappointed that a fellow member of site admin made this decision and then didnt attempt to explain it at all which caused yourself to take flak from people ngry at the percieved double standards and attempted burying of the news.

Yes I have been in that position, but I tend to find that in that position I have the balls to put my hand up and say it was me, dont blame the other, innocent people.

Yes again I remember the letter from the council, it was about racism on this site, nothing to do with condemning paedophiles.

It's nothing to do with you mate, it's nothing to do with Cazi, Farnham or anyone else except City Tyke. I guess that should have been pointed out. Maybe it would have been better if he'd held his hand up himself instead of letting the rest of you take the flak with him. City Tyke is the only member of site admin who socialises with or, to my knowledge, would give the time of day to Chris Corke.</p>

If you mean what's gone off one here then I suppose it's just one of the regular swells of public disgust at the actions of Corke and a single thread deletion.I just think it's about time it was pointed out that there's no connection between him and any of the site admin team except City Tyke. Disappointing that he didn'tmake that clearhimself but there you go.

Threads about him have been deleted in the past as well, or at least have been locked and the other day more than one thread was deleted or mysteriously vanished.

Like you, I'm disappointed that whoever deleted the threads (and I would be inclined to believe it is City Tyke) doesn't feel that he or she (if cazi) can say why they were so quick to act and what justification they have for doing it.

Basically, site admin put in a lot of hard work which we all know and the site would be nothing without them but more importantly, the person deleting the thread (whilst not deleting your comments on the stabbing) should remember that they could not run this site without the other site admin either and they should have the balls to say it was me, not them.

 

Not entirely sure if you're referring to a specific time or just in general so if you mean in general then yes I have in the past and in things more serious than what people on the internet think of me as well

It's only a deleted post on a football message board (a non footbal post too). If the most important thing people have to worry about in their life then they must live very boring sheltered lives.

If you mean who gives a **** about Chris Corke then obviously quite a few people. It would have been laid to rest a long time ago if he'd, for once in his life, done the decent thing and disappeared. Whether you care one way or the other has no bearing on the way others look at it.</p>
