    In my opinion

the striker with the most potential in League 1. Would definately be worth a gamble, even at a million quid.

TO be honest from what ive seen on a personal level of BOTH players, I'd rather have Richards.

    Explanation

Sharp has scored a lot of goals in League 1, proven he's a good finisher at that level, would he bag 20 in the Championship? not so sure. he's 5 foot odd with pace and an eye for goal, but so is Freddie Eastwood and Lee Trundle and they havent really done the business again this season. Not saying Sharp is a flash in the pan, just scoring goals at League 1 doesnt automatically mean he'll step up.

Folan is 6 foot odd and lightening quick, he frightened the **** out of Premiership defenders in Chesterfields Carling Cup run, hence the number of Prem clubs scouting him. In terms of potential, I reckon with the right coaching, he could add goals to the physical attributes and then you've got the complete package. Certainly worth a punt for the Championship, not the finished article but likely to improve and a shrewd investment for the future.
