On the plus side . . . . . . I thought it a fitting end that as the thousands of fans cheered and whistled he just sat there in the chair laughing and saying "*******" over and over again. It's hard to imagine a more succinct and accurate review.
Apparently the BB winner has musical aspirations Perhaps he should audition for X Factor? I could spare 5-10 seconds to watch that.
That is sad. I don't watch Big Brother because I am (clearly) too intelligent to do so. In fact I'm so intelligent I don't even bother to say that I don't watch it, because it is utterly self-evident that I would never watch it. Having said that, I rarely miss an opportunity to call people that watch it "idiots" or somesuch, as it elevates my own status above that of the hoi polloi. Sorry, did I say "hoi polloi" - ho ho! I'm always using highfaluting language like that!! Sorry did I say "highfaluting"?? etc. etc. etc. As always, loved it - every minute of it. I don't think you can ever find a situation where the observing of human behaviour is so interesting. It is quite irritating to have pseuds dismiss it as banal when the reality is far from that. Shame the freak won it mind, but it was a weak year for worthy winners in all fairness.
why is he "a freak" he's a lot more decent a chap than many people i have seen on the show or any other "reality show". or is it because he suffers from tourettes syndrome
He has based his "TV personality" on Lee Evans Hence he is a moron , not a freak.</p> He wont last beyond the end of August.</p>
RE: He has based his "TV personality" on Lee Evans Why has he based him on Lee Evans? Does he sweat like a ******* as well?
I watched the show when they entered the house, He went into the house doing an entire Lee Evams routine.</p> Maybe he has "changed" during the shows run. I haven't watched anymore , just read about it in the papers.</p>
I don't think he's a freak but he's put on a bloody good act for the last 13 weeks he undeniably has Tourettes, but that doesn't make you act like a cross between Lee Evans and Ade Edmondson at his worst. </p> His pre-prepared act/package won it for him, sympathy for his illness, very occasional comedy and a big knob (which he got out at the earliest opportunity and then had all the house birds drooling all over him).</p> Obviously he couldn't keep the act going 24/7 for 13 weeks, so he had a good opening week and a good closing week and spent the rest of the time moping about feeling sorry for himself, playing the grey man and refusing to get drawn into confrontation (even to the point of taking a 21 minute piss when Grace reappeared in the house). The only time he came alive was friday night evictions when the spotlight was guaranteed to be on him because he always clung to the obvious evictee, gurning for britain. </p> Didn't like him, didn't buy his act and to be truthfull some of the stunts BB pulled off seemed to be geared to him winning from the off.</p> Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.</p>
It was setup for him to win from Day One. If he had been voted out they would have got him back in some how.</p> I dont understand why they give the "winner" money. When all they want is "fame"</p>
Based on the few times I watched it.. The lad who came 2nd should have won. At least he did something when I watched it and was remotely entertaining. Thought even the big bald gay bloke was more entertaining than Pete.
He'd have been better impersonating Norman Wisdom rather than impersonating a Norman Wisdom impersonater!
I think the biggest bit of fixing was about 3 weeks ago when......... they realised that Glyn & Mikey had developed a strong bond and a reasonable comedy act and in do so Glyn was rapidly overtaking Pete on the popularity stakes. So they deliberately set about swaying public opinion about Mikey by focussing in on every tiny disagreement and fault he had during that week. The public bought it and it got him the boot when really he probably would have got to the final week and carried Glyn through to winning.</p>
