No surprise given Val is at the helm. Think he'd do well over there, and could easily be put in the shop window with European games to show what he's got. Be earning a pretty penny too.
If hes wanted by even half of these teams Barnsley should tell him and his agent. We want x (3.5 million at least) and say don't bother coming back to us until you can get us that. Also try and push for it upfront which the prem teams will be able to do as they've just got a massive chunk of TV money. I was surprised when I seen people saying who would want him, he's not had a good season. Same goes for Brittain, Helik Anderson Collins and a few others.
I don't think many teams get it all upfront these days? I'd like to think if we got 3 million, in say, 1 million a year payouts, our board would put all the 3m+ towards this seasons transfers budget if needed - since it's still guaranteed and they could get it back over the course of 3 years if it benefitted us
No way will we get £3m for Styles. Hope I’m wrong but I think a more realistic figure is about half that.
I know they've gone through a bad patch, but they'd still pay mega wages in comparison to us. Batshuayi is supposed to be on over 100k, I assume Besiktas is paying atleast 50% of that. Texeira and Pjanic are on 50k+. They have some high profile players, Vida, Ghezzel, Lens. I'd definitely consider that a pretty penny!
I reckon it'll closer to around 2 million (no idea if he has a relegation clause or not). I'd like to think we'd put a hefty sell on clause in that too. Don't we owe whoever owns the rights to the former bury contracts a % when we do sell him?

Absolutely deluded anyone who thinks we’re going to get £3.5m for Styles. 1 year left on his contract and was mostly crap last season. Also, we’re Barnsley and we always get fleeced.
FFS Before you start throwing out the likes of the deluded i'd get the contract length right for a start. Hes got a 1 plus 1 to go for the club.
