Davey sorted it out after we lost the first one and he'll sort it out after we lost the second one
I can't think of any manager in the Championship that has had to start all over again with team selection at the mid-season point
But unfortunatly SD has found himself in this position
Its like having 5 core members of your team out for 6 weeks injured and then they all return at the same time
We have got the players now..........all we need now is TIME

goalie straight in from thursday.does the goalie know what to expect of his defenders.does the team know how the goalie plays ,remember hienz is a hard act to follow.the defence and goal keeper have to gell .may take a few training sessions . defenders to know when to leave it for the goal keeper and when to protect him.

Its a new start to the season

    new goalkeeper
centre defence hasn't played together for weeks
    New full back/s
centre midfield hasn't played together for weeks
    new winger
    new forward line

If SD can get them to gel then expect a good run in
But for me, this season is all about building while keeping out of the relegation zone
Next season..........top six (if we can keep the current squad together)

    New Team Nudger?

There's me thinking most of the players brought in this month, had played for us before.

    RE: Unfortunate ..........not.......mismanagement.

SD isn't in a position to go out and spend millions hoping the players will perform
He has had to bring in loans that UNFORTUNATLY were recalled
From December there has been uncertainty surrounding the players i.e. which players will be sold, which players will have to go back to their own clubs etc etc
If we had kept the same team that we had in November until the end of the season I think we would have finished about 8th or maybe higher. But we didn't
And we have since added Macken, Nardia, Leon, Tininho

That's what you get for buying lots of players but having the backbone of your side made up of loans and a keeper whose career you were prepared to risk because of not having a reserve on the bench.

Think Macken was the only one recalled maybe wrong. Davey had players available whom were brought to the club by himself at the start of the season that would have done a job until end of transfer window.

    RE: New team?

Footballs a confidence game ,played together before - ,Thought all they had to was turn up as they played so well previously..must work harder as a team including Tony Warner while he's here.
Time for MR Motivation Simon Davey ,will stretch his management skills-Are you ready gladiators(coming back on sky 1).
They need to be Hungary to play and wear the shirt and be disciplined. Its all in the frame of mind, anything is possible when you put your mind to it.
    Back to the Blackboard and
    Over to you Mr Davey.
