    What does everyone think?     same here.. i think they should have a choice if they want to stand or sit.. but i cant see them bringing it into force after the hillsbrough disaster

    That arrangement isnt quite the same as we had before

    It seems that each space has a seat rather than the terracing we used to love. If brought in hard to see any difference in pricing or change in ground capacity.
    Better than nothing I suppose and it is impossible to construct any rational argument for not doing it - but I never thought a total ban on terracing was rational either.
    I'd still prefer it though, for some reason standing at football matches is so much better than sitting down

    Every team who has followed this "all seater" law should be given

    compensation as a compromise to those who never followed this up (ie cardiff, rotherham etc etc)...

    if this law is changed now, before all teams who are required finish there all seater stadiums, then teams like Barnsley, have spent millions which could have gone into the playing staff, wheras teams who still have some standing now, have got away with it....

    if that makes any sense
