    Lazy Man's tent?
    Poor Mans hotel?
    Or
    Adventure?

    Just having a debate.

    depends what sort of camper

if its one of these HUUUUUUGE Winnebago types then Lazy/poor is the answer ... if its a VW type , then adventure all the way

I think it depends a lot on what they're used for

If it is just driven out to a regular campsite occasionally then it is a poor mans tent or a rich mans caravan

If they're driven to normal holiday places and parked up because it saves paying for a hotel then its a poor mans hotel

But if theyre driven with the intention of parking up wherever you end up without any real plans in place then I'd say they're brilliant and a real intention

I'd love to have one and just take off without ANY plans where i was going at all and when it got dark just pull up in a layby and go to bed

I've got a camper an old Vee dub and it's fantastic. Free road tax. £120 a year insurance and appreciates in value. Does break down 'occasionally'.

Took you long enough. I knew there was a joke in there somewhere, but it was way too laboured to be funny. :)

Adventure! I drove from Sydney into the Blue Mountains, back out to the coast & then up to Brisbane in this, loved it every minute of it!

It's great for a holiday. 4/5 years ago me & a mate did 6 weeks from Brisbane to Cairns in a Jucy Camper Van (same size as gazredtyke above), I can easily say that was the best holiday that I've ever had.

Also had a bid Maui camper (6 berth big'un) and had a week driving round the Northern Territory. Although it was more comfortable and luxurious, it was also a pain in the arse to get anywhere.

If I could afford one i'd have one in a heartbeat.
