Just enquired for a weeks hire of Motorhome

And its unbelievable, £1000 for 7 days hire in two weeks time. Would be 2 fares to Florida. Cheaper to buy one :D :D :D

Yep, too big............much too big.........and it was the size of a X19 bus

Me, arrrr lass, who is 6' and mi lad who is 14 but 6'4" were cramed into a 33' long, 11' wide RV.

Thing is this - MIDDLE OF NOWHERE - yer pull up at a site, yer level the RV up running back and forward on what looks like huge leggo bricks, then yer get the water pipe rolled out and plugged in, yer then get yer sewage pipe run out and plugged in (which int nice) and yer get yer electric cable run out and plugged in.
Then you mess about with the gears to allow the side of the RV to be pulled out so you have got more room inside.

And then you sit down and relax only for someone to say something on the lines of "we've run out of milk so we will have to find a shop"

ME................. (furious) (furious) (furious) ..........."reight thats it !!!.........unplug every foooking thing and put them away!!!...........and let me drive this foooking bus up and darn the country lanes looking for a foooking shop that can sell us a pint of foooking milk" !!!

Which results in me getting some of this (battered) from arrrr lass.

    Not as funny as..........

............when we had been there for only a couple of days and arrr lass pulled the sewage pipe art during a hissy fit only to find there were some liquidised ***** still in the pipe that sort of sloshed up her shorts and T shirt

    Me................... :D ................foooking excellent (Y)

Her..................walking with stiff legs and arms towards the shower block..............."I'm foooking fed up with this holiday all ready and I'll never do foooking camping again........foooking RVs its nowt but foooking posh camping" !!!

    cheers for the posts,

Beyond the bay Geoff doesn't hire out.
found a bargain at sams campers on the internet for £50 per day, but sadly booked up!

(i know loads hire out elsewhere - but they normally charge £100 per day ish)
