    To the frequently repeated rumours I've heard & read of Darren Moore and Kevin Phillips both signing next week?
    Or it just a load of old b0ll0cks?

    I've heard them all week.
    One of the old men who goes down to the ground told me at school yesterday that Moore had his medical yesterday.
    He never misses a match home or away.
    He'd not seen Philips though!

    I've heard the rumours, Tina

    Both at work and in our village. Also, the same thing has been posted on both BBC 606 and Tykesmad. This doesn't necessarily mean the rumours have a greater degree of accuracy, just that they appear to be coming from more than one source.

    I used to like Moore. I think everyone thinks he's rubbish now because Derby shipped so many goals last season. He's still a big bruiser and we don't really have anyone like that.
    Nyatanga must think he's got a chance at Derby, but Jewell seems not to rate him. I think it may turn out to be a bad career move for him, but then again I could be hopelessly wrong as I usually am.

    In all seriousness, if we were to sign those two, would some posters be happier that we were signing experienced Championship players? Or would there still be complaints?

    I support ALL Barnsley players whoever they are and regardless of how they are performing. Abusing them just makes things worse.
