This might seem silly but it could be that with Davey being a defensive sort of player himself, he tends to focus more on the defensive players and does not really understand the forwards? I cant understand his substitutions and tactics in many games this season, they baffle me.

I asked him quite some time ago Just said we don't see him in training and he's not doing enough to warrant a place.
He was rubbish today Though the conditions weren't great. He has played a lot better there than I expected and full credit to him for trying it and giving his all - it's no slight on him - but he isn't and never will be a central midfielder on a regular basis. He should be at right back next week but no doubt Van Homoet will play.
