Can anyone explain why Campbell-Ryce always gets taken off?

Yet Hassell, despite being ineffective remained on the pitch?

JCR and Nardiello were our only threat in the entire game apart from Macken's effort.

And how on earth does Leon get in ahead of Devaney?

This might seem silly but it could be that

with Davey being a defensive sort of player himself, he tends to focus more on the defensive players and does not really understand the forwards?
I cant understand his substitutions and tactics in many games this season, they baffle me.

Because he found it hard to pass to another white shirt all game, kept trying to beat his man on a day when it was impossible to dribble and so lost it time and time again.

Hassle was shocking, davey needs to swallow his pride and reinstate Johnson

No, not today, had to shoot off as was getting a lift with a mate and there were three others from Oakwell AM there...

Can't imagine we'd have got much out of him anyway.

    What's wrong with Togwell?

I asked him quite some time ago

Just said we don't see him in training and he's not doing enough to warrant a place.

    He's a decent player

Better bet than Johnson for me.

I'd rather have him in there than Hassell

But Togwell should be ahead of the pair.

    I agree.

Then Hassell can play right back rather than Van Homoet.

    I think its marginal

But do believe that Hassell is growing in the midfield role.

    He was rubbish today

    Though the conditions weren't great.

He has played a lot better there than I expected and full credit to him for trying it and giving his all - it's no slight on him - but he isn't and never will be a central midfielder on a regular basis.

He should be at right back next week but no doubt Van Homoet will play.
