When I am typing I sometimes get a "U" with the accent above it.
I can't work out what key combination Í'm using to get it. Just done it again over the "I".
Any suggestions?

Thanks that works but I'm not using the key pad when it happens. It' just annoying me when have to re-type.
I don't know about the UK keyboard, but at least in the Finnish keyboard that I'm using there's a ¨ (with also ^ and ~ on it) key next to Enter, and ´ next to Backspace. Try pressing the ¨ or ´ first, then press A E I O U or Y
Forget that the UK keyboard seems to be totally different. However I found this on some website: Assuming you're running a UK English keyboard setting in Windows XP, you can use the following: AltGR + s = scharfes S AltGR + p = o umlaut AltGR + y = u umlaut AltGR + q = a umlaut Add Shift for upper case umlauted characters. I hope that helps.
Worked it out Ctrl/Alt u is what Iv'e been doing. It's not what I thought it was.
úúúúúúúúúúúú

Thanks guys.
