Can anyone help out two football fans from the continenit with tix for Leeds match?

    Dear Barnsley Fans,

    first of all sorry to bother you with this, but as of now, this appears to be my only option to attend the home match against Leeds...

    I am looking for someone who either has two spare tickets (one would also be a great start) for the upcoming home match against Leeds on Easter Saturday, or someone who would be willing to buy two tix on behalf of me.

    Background of my inquiry: Over the past 12 years, I have been on the noble mission to visit the 92 league grounds (well, 91 these days). I am currently at 88, with only three grounds missing. The Easter weekend was supposed to be the final trip to England and everything was lined up to accomplish the goal, including a visit to Oakwell. When the Leeds match went on sale, I however had to realize that a booking history is required to order tickets, which is of course quite annoying in my situation, I however understand the measure, being an avid football supporter myself. This is not the first time this has happened to me, usually a call to the box office and an explanation that we are making the trip from Austira/Germany and don't hold sympathies for the visiting team gets the job done. In the current case, the lady on the Barnsley hotline, was as flexible and willing to discuss as an army drill sergant. No chance whatsoever.

    So I'd be super grateful if anyone could help us out here. There's obviously something in it for you as well, apart from the price for the tickets, the pre-match pints are of course on me, plus I'd happily return the favour should you decide to make it to the depth of Austrian football.     I'm surprised our club don't seem willing to help your situation. Email our Chief Executive Ben Mansford at youreds@barnsleyfc.co.uk or i'm sure someone from our Supporters Trust will look into it for you.

    The Supporters Trust will arrange this for you and have two tickets for you to collect on the day. Send an e-mail to HarrowTyke@Gmail.com and he'll sort it out for you.

    If you're a Leeds fan in disguise though, or part of the Calgiari Mafia, I can't confirm you'll survive Easter ......

    It hasn't been mentioned because it's all been sorted?

    Once you move on to e-mail there's no need to carry on with the BBS (for them anyway). Tickets purchased.
