the old way to Burnley go to Halifax, then to Todmorden turn right up the Burnley By pass...... THATS THE WAY I USED TO GO MANY Y EARS AGO good luck
thanks guys but is it quicker to go via todmorden or to go m62-m66-a56-m65 into burnley-i leave at 530 from tarn
RE: thanks guys but At that time of night I would advise sticking to the motorway route. Longer but quicker. The ground is signposted from the M65. From memory once you leave the M62 at Bury onto the M66 it's sigposted Burnley 18 miles. Make sure you don't miss the turn off for Burnley on the M66. It's down the bottom of a hill and very easy to miss if you are clogging on in the outside lane. Assuming you do find it, as you exit the motorway onto the 'slip road' make sure you are in the right hand lane as the left lane takes you away from the Burnley road.
