If you want decent reading material I'd stay away from football related books! Try the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trilogy.
Bfc related, get lars leese book.if tha like's crime books get the ice man, confessions of a mafia contract killer by philip carlo,it's a top read,or bryan burroughs public enemies.
On a different subject but have you read "kyriakos" not sure if thats the proper spelling,it's the true story of wombwell born ernest chapman (whom i had the pleasure of working with for a while (as a boy). Who escaped a nazi prison camp in greece and joined the partisans. Really is a good read and beggars belief how this story took so long to surface and why he didn't get an honour highly recommended for a tarner on holiday
Try http://www.amazon.co.uk/Barnsley-A-Study-Football-1953-59/dp/0950756830 an interesting insight into how football used to be run, a decent read and its all about Barnsley FC! Redfern's Biography's a good read too.
