TomTom

has been pretty good for me. Not infallible, though, but then none of them are.

At times she has led me astray........but then all exciting women do. She tried to take me into a field in Cawthorne the other day. Cheeky mare :D

    Agreed

I find it helpful to play the route through in demo mode before travelling if I can. That way I can visualise where it's trying to take me from what I saw on screen. They're not infallible though so also have a look on a map too.

Maps are good but you can't read & drive at the same time, not legally at least. SatNavs are also good but aren't always up to date with the latest streets. I had a friend's TomTom try & take me the wrong way up 4 consecutive one way streets once!
