Going to get one on Monday as my 360 has broke and the robbing Barstewards at Microsoft want £60 to fix it, getting Fifa and Fallout 3 but I wanted to know what the best ps3 exclusive games are
Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2, Mirrors Edge, Skate 2 in January, Motorstorm Pacific Rift probably some more that iv missed
Let me get this straight they want £60 to fix the 360, but you wont pay that much !!! So you are going to pay about £250- £300 for a PS3 ! How are you saving any money there ?????????????????????? (seestars) (seestars) (seestars) (seestars) (seestars)
RE: Let me get this straight It's not about saving money this xbox has broke twice now and I want something more reliable for my money. There is no point spending £40 on a game every month if the things going to keep breaking down. Id rather invest £300 in a console that isn't going to break after 2 years, Plus I want blu-ray
Argos before 24th... PS3 plus 3 games (RRP each £40) for about £285. Plus a £10 voucher for spending over £100.
RE: Argos before 24th... Nice one, didn't think to look at argos Thats my christmas sorted, ar lass will be pleased
There's a game you can buy from the PS store, it's called GTI club and its based on a mid 90's arcade game (reminds me of the good old days at the seaside). The online bomtag mode is dead addictive, cost me a tenner last week and im hooked.
I wouldn't bother It'll be a crap investment, sure to decrease in value once you've bought it, in much the same way as shares!
RE: PS3 I've got the 360 but I know of 4 people who have had the PS3 pack up in the last few weeks. They all have the original release version which Sony have since stopped producing sonot sure if the problems will occur on the newer ones.
Resistance fall of man was good so would guess the second one will be as well. Not so many out and out exclusives about but PS3 online service is free unlike xbox live so that's an advantage
RE: Let me get this straight PS3's are not immune to breaking down and Blu-Ray? Ask yourself - Do you currently buy retail DVDs? I got swept up in the HD-DVD add on for the Xbox360 and realised afterwards I only ever really watch copied DVDs. The dozen or so I've bought, have been viewed once and then slung in the cupboard. If your they type who buys movies, then it's justified - But remember you can get Stand alone Blu-Ray players for around £100 now but you can't get copied Blu-Ray movies. If you've bought your 360 from a major retailer and it's less than 2 years, then take it back under the sale of goods act. The goods they've sold you have to be 'fit for purpose.' I wouldn't pay £60 for a fix either - You can pick up a Brand new Xbox360 Arcade from Zavvi for £97 and probably get £40+ for your faulty console on Ebay.
