not read many but..

Frank Skinner's book was quite good - a few years old now, but a really good read.

don't bother with Peter Kay's unless you really like him, just a regurgitation of his tv work / reflection of how his life made the shows, kind of thing..

I'm going to get Gordon Ramsay's book, been told that's good.

    Chris Moyles...........

autobiography was awesome. He writes about a paragraph about his childhood and says if anyone wants to know more they are pervs. Slags off a few celebrities as well.

Although I am currently ploughing through a quite good (though exceedingly biased) BIOGRAPHY on Douglas Haig (An Educated Soldier). (zzz)

    Disagree

...... if anything it was a bit self-congratulatory in parts, but nowhere near as much as Briam Lara's was. Cover to cover, me me me me ......... with occasional pauses to mention how bitter and twisted he was about Shaka Hislop getting loadsa dosh as a footballer.

    Not strictly speaking an autobiography...

But David Peace's "The Damned United" about Cloughies 44 days at Elland Road is superb - a "one sitting" read.

As expected, a few drop the book onto your lap with your mouth open moments. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
