Can anyone remember this tackle that Colin W*nker is complaining about?

The only bad challenge I can remember was the one that ended Jim O'Brien's match.

If ever an anagram was more apt in the history of the world.

Yep a very robust challenge from Dawson, good lad. About time we dished out some nastiness against those dirty b'stards.

It was strong but fair. It wasn't two footed.

Yes, just a strong and fair tackle that both players (Dawson & McCormack) went in for and Dawson was stronger.

McCormack didn't complain and neither did their physio come on.

How Warnock could see this (as it was in front of East Stand Lower) but didn't see the one that ended O'Brien's game (straight in front of his dug-out) is laughable beyond belief.

Leeds were awful.....REDS were brilliant....so Warnock picks on a totally insignificant point to detratct from the performance and result.

I thought it was a really bad challenge by Dawson. Two footed and ugly. But it seems like every one else saw it differently, so I'm probably wrong.

I do remember one excellent strong tackle

so I guess that must have been it, not even a foul. Dawson had a great game and Perkins wasn't far behind him (won the ball back when you didn't expect it but occasionally gave it away). Great to see Mellis back (unfortunately at the expense of Jim) his passing was good and I was impressed with his work-rate and tackling - not something he's normally known for. I was also impressed with Harewood. In fact I'd give everyone at least 8/10 with the possible exception of the mostly redundant Luke Steel - second thoughts he gets 8 as well for staying focused despite being a spectator.

When Mccormack finally got up he ran over to Dawson and had words.

Was in front of the East stand. Looked a bit two footed but was totally focused on the ball. He does do that from time to time. Some refs would punish it.

But when you think about the arm pulling and general fouling the a very poor Leeds team engaged in moaning about it shows Warnock up for what he is.

Laptop at the press conference indeed. Feeling the pressue Neil?

Dawson had a great game. Again. O'Brien was injured by a bad challenge that went unpunished. But I don't think that changes Dawson's challenge. He goes in two footed far too often for my liking. He's going to get sent off and cost us and maybe really injure someone. I hope he stops doing it before that happens.

Like others have said it was just a robust challenge by Dawson who had another very good game.

I'm not dancing to Warnock's drum

Dawson won the ball, but it was a two footed challenge and another referee may have viewed it differently. It wasn't a game changing moment, however, and Warnock knows it. He's trying to use it to disguise the fact his team were out played, out thought and out fought. Funny how he doesn't seem to be outraged about Tate raking his studs down Stones' calf in the first half, for example. Leeds got exactly what they deserved, nothing.

No, an enigma. A legend in the making.

It's nice now that everyone agrees with me that him and Daggers are quality. They all come round in the end.
