Apart from missing an almost open net.

Terrible display from the front three.

I've finally made my mind, he needs sending back. But why play him as the middle of the three strikers when Macken would have
been much more effective playing that bit deeper and picking the up. How Davey could not see it weren't working and make a change
a lot earlier I'll never know.

He offered Southampton a lifeline in their relegation battle, whilst at the same time ensuring we got ourselves nicely dragged down into it.
To be fair Macken was no better, I'm struggling to remember the last good game he had.

You would be best off asking what Rigters as offered in any game he's ever played for us, not just yesterday.

He had a couple of decent cameo appearences

Coming on for the last 20 mins of games recently

Woeful at West Ham and yesterday

But I cant understand why we keep persevering with Rigters and Odejayi.

I'm all for not making snap judgements until a player has had chance to settle and get some match fitness but at some point you have to decide they will never be good enough - For Odejayi that was sometime last season. For Rigters it seems we have reached that point

I can look "lively" for 15-20 minutes

SD gave KO more opportunities than Rigters and Mostto put together - but he's been openly critical of him lately.

Rigters got his chance yesterday, but there was no sign of the energy / enthusiasm he has shown as a substitute (why am I not surprised). You would think that with SD poised to sign a new forward they would all have been busting a gut yesterday... but no.

It's time to get rid of the dead wood strikers we have. Rigters looks a stone overweight and offered nothing yesterday.Odejayi is never going to make it in the championship. Everyones shooting was pathetic against the worst team seen at Oakwell for ages. We should have buried them by half time.
