the name of the company you register with to stop getting phone calls from salesman. Somebody at work wants to register with them but I can't remember the web address

not sure you can get rid of them completely.

i've been working in telemarketing recently and we get our phone numbers from surveys etc, aswell as other companies passing on information.

I've found it has cut down a lot . Hadn't had a phone call from Toucan telecom in ages. TJhen again I did tell them to p**s off last time!ff

 

Tell them to hold the line, then go about your business works everytime

 

Never thought of that but sometimes simple vulgarity works!

 

like i said...

i work as one of these annoying people who call up all day long (and always at the wrong time) and i still treat them like utter crap when they call me. to be honest doing something like going mad on the phone is a blessing because it makes the boring day go by ever so slightly quicker.

best thing to do when they call is ask to be taken off their call register however you may have to give them your postcode to do so. despite this in the company i work for we only get your postcode to confirm we're removing the correct person...so it's worth doing.
