Why we have to have a running commentary on the World Cup games?

Does anyone know that the games are actually played on the BBC and ITV???

And the Barnsley games are live at Oakwell

So we don't need to talk about those either. It'd certainly cut down on the bandwidth requirements.

Shall we all just go and sit down and have a nice cup of tea and some shortbread fingers. Tum te tum...

    Shortbread fingers?

I'm more of a Tunnocks' Caramel Wafers man myself. Do you know they do them in dark chocolate now?

Tunnocks? In dark chocolate? Jinks, the streets of Arbroath and Kircudbright will be flowing with blood, how dare they play around with the ingredients of that most Scottish of biscuit/snacks.

    Anything in dark chocolate

    is instantly improved by 100%.

Well not quite anything, but anything normally covered in chocolate.

    I know, I know

But I sent Mrs Burgundy Red out to get some when we were in Blighty last (she'd never heard of them despite being a Scot!) and she came back with dark chocolate ones. And they're lovely! If all it takes is incurring the wrath of a minor nation then so be it.
