Why we're even looking at Ola Tidman, when any Wednesday fan will tell you he's the worst keeper they've ever seen. Let in 28 goals in 16 games - Surely, if this 'info' is common knowledge in the pubs & clubs around South Yorks, why the hell is our manager, who's in the 'football' trade even considering it? Can anyone give me a good reason why, according to Ritchie signing a keeper (poss Tidman) is more important than a striker?? I'm baffled!!(chinny)
Chris Turner signed Tidman for the Dark Side. He was rather like Paul Hart, was Turner: good at spotting players, but couldn't make them play together. Hopefully Tidman is another example of this.
I thought he was signing that Kyle Lederhosen as 3rd choice, then wanted a second choice?? - can't see why Lederhosen or whatever he's called can't be no 2 for a bit - at this rate we'll be going into the start of the season with Richards & Hayes up front - need I point out how fruitless that would be? Also, to flog this subject to death - Sheff Utd got promoted to the premiership last year without having a sub keeper on the bench for most of the time as I remember???
Take your point with outfield players but from what I've seen a crap keeper is a crap keeper regardless
like I said Colgan was ***** we bomed him out then he set about replacing blue eyed boy Flinders, don't write the kid off without a bit of evidence, like seeing him play not listening to some dedaar.
