what davey's formation was yesterday it looked to me like 1 - 9 - 1 with nards 40 yard in front of everyone else if he plays that every week well im afraid its back to league one for us .......!
think it was supposed to be 4-5-1 according to radio commentary. Just can't see us staying up playing that way. At least under AR we tried to play decent football even when we would have been better shutting up shop (v. Norwich). The problem is we just aren't good enough at defending to play like Chelsea and go for the one nil win. It sounded very much like Davey had gone for a point yesterday and what's worse was the fact he failed to change anything when it started going wrong. It's in these situations where his lack of experience is shown. league one here we come
