Can anyone who knows about telecommunications tell me...

...why the chuff they use an ISDN line on the player service? By the sounds of it most clubs (if not all) use it?

I always thought ISDN was 90's technology used to get better internet speeds but far far lower even modest broadband these days?

I mention this because Barnsley Player has disconnected several times and Matt Bailey has blamed Blackburn's ISDN?
