He's saved us a point doing that. Sounds like Kay lost it, Reid lost it, but hes saved us a point as long as we hang on, and Hassell can go to centre half...

He lost us two last week though...

He makes that same type of error almost every week (althought most people seem to single ouy Kay).

Reid didn't do ANYTHING wrong last week.

The first goal was Kay making some pathetic attempt at cutting out a cross, and Howard stood off for the 2nd.

I'm very happy with a point considering Blackpool's recent form.

RE: Reid didn't do ANYTHING wrong last week.

He lost the ball in front of the defence and they went on to score. Most folk blamed Kay (surprise surprise) for that, but he wasn't the one who lost the ball in a dangerous spot.

Reid made an identical mistake earlier in the game when (as the least man) he tried to take the ball around Goater. On that occasion, he managed to toe poke it back to Colgan.

Sorry, but he does this on a regular basis.

    Well I disagree..

Thought he was phenomenal at Oldham, and very good against Swansea.

Kay over-ran the ball and left Blackpool able to break which caused Reid the problem today, but overall, they defend very well as a pair.

Its in our hands - thats all we can ask for.

    So...

If Kay makes a mistake and puts Reid in trouble, that's Kay fault.

If Reid makes a mistake and puts Kay in trouble, that's also Kay fault.

That's pretty much the way it goes where I sit. I am a fan of Paul Reid BTW.

i think that it's kays fault a lot of the time

But last week reid had to take a lot of responsibility (not all) for both goals

People will blame Kay for owt

Thankfully our manager can see how he really plays and was giving him some long ovgerdue praise in his interviews this week. For me Kay and and Hassle have been by far our most consistent performers in defence this season.

I know, it takes a while to work out, but thanks to the football genii I tend to sit next to, I eventually sussed it.

What you do is ignore 89 minutes of solid, committed and influential football, and point out the one bad pass he played during that game. Then blame said pass for the goal they scored.

    I like Kay..

No problem with him whatsoever. He's improved vastly in the last few months.

But are you saying I'm wrong when I heard Paul Walker say "Kay collects...He's over run it and Reid's got some work to do here as he chases back against Parker."

So surely the blame is split?

Kay's been excellent recently and I'm a fan of both of them, as a partnership.

    Wasn't listening mate.

So I don't know. Nor was I having a go at you, more the people who consistently have a go at him (A few of whom will be on later, no doubt).
