    Had some blinds fitted by Hillarys Blinds. The ****ing things fell down after a week. After several missed appointments to fix them this is the state they left them in

    Your probably right. The guy who phoned me has had to speak to the fitter first. I got the impression he was looking for ways it could be my fault.

    Time to pick up the campaign at that point... HillarysBilndsAreShite.co.uk blog is about to open!

    just say the fitter did not mention any issues with the ceiling when he fitted them and if he has left knowing there was an issue then hes not doing his job right.

    contact the local trading standards about them. But let Hilary's know you intend to do so. I bet bet they answer pretty sharpish. Then tell them you want the wall re-plastering/finishing and the blinds put up correctly.

    I had Hillarys to do my blinds in the Kitchen's (Husband and wife) we'll they openend the box and put a slash stright through one of the blinds, had to wait for a new part that runs across the top at the front,

    anyway the new part came they sent me a text saying left it at the neighbours with stick pads

    down here in "SheepShagger" land

    they have a programme on TV called "The Ferret". He looks into things like this and 'names and shames' them on TV. Cowboy builders, dodgy decorators, shark car sellers etc etc is there a show like that in Yorkshire. Maybe give them a shout and ask them to look into it.

    It seems to have done the trick as i was contacted by a couple of Hillarys customer service people via Twitter fairly quickly.

    After first promising to fix the damage, manufacture a new blind and fit it within 10 days they have now decided that they can do this within 3 days.
