My wife has just sold something on EBay, even though it was listed as UK only someone from Italy purchased it via the "buy it now" option.
The said buyer joined Ebay 2 weeks ago and as such has no ratings.

I worried about fraud, I mean if the buyer pays using perhaps a stolen bank card, weeks down the line could I be liable to a claw back from the bank? If so how do I fully protect myself from fraud?

    Thanks in advance

Use a bank transfer. all you need to do is give them your account number and sort code. Simple as that, people worry about this but i don't know why as they can't do anything with these details other then put money in [IMG]

I had the same when i sold summat to a guy in Germany. gave my details he put the cash in 2 days later. he even paid extra for PP even though it didnt cost me extra to send.
