1. We have not been relegated.
2. We are not even in the bottom 3.
3. We still have a game in hand.
I know things are looking a bit shitty and we have a tough 4 games to come but I think there's still a lot of twists and turns to come.

Fair point mate It's hard to be positive after today but true. I thought our GD was worse than Forest's so thought we were in bottom 3. If we win one of the two away games, we realistically can't be in bottom 3 going into last 2 games. If Wolves are already up we may have a chance then.
Can I be the first to volunteer that.. ...we could certainly finish second from bottom. We were a fecking shambles today. We still have to play Coventry away (where we never win), the Champions Elect Wolves (who will hammer us without remorse), Reading (who have a vastly superior goal difference to 'best football team in the world' Swansea) and then we play Plymouth in a Simon Davey 'We really can't afford to lose this one' game. It has relegation stamped all over it. I can see us going into the Plymouth game already relegated with Davey giving a rousing team talk 'Lads - Plymouth - we really can't afford to lose this one today'. 'Boss, we're already down, we got relegated last week against Wolves'. 'Exactly - so those fans that have travelled all this way deserve us to put on a real show, which means that this is one we really must draw.'
Wolves wont ease up, they'll want to win the title not just go up, Reading will want to nick an automatic place, best chance is Coventry with nothing to play for, hopefully they'll be on the beach. Plymouth hopefully too will be safe and relaxed but if they get nothing else till they play us, they'll still be on 50pnts and that may not be enough, they may still be battling. Lose at Cov and we're relying on everyone else. Thats about as positive as I can get.
We could but even the bookies think we probably wont. Admittedly it looks a bit bleak but all this "we are down" talk is totally OTT
I think realistically we were relegated last Saturday when we conceded an 88th minute goal at watford and Forest came back from 2-1 to win 3-2.
How on earth is it clutching at straws WE ARE NOT IN THE BOTTOM 3 Our GD is better than forests We have a game in hand on both forest and Norwich. Our games look tough but there's no need for defeatism.
but being realistic (as opposed to OTT) ...we all know that we should have done the business against Derby/Watford/Blackpool/Charlton/Forest (home and away for Forest) and we failed to produce the goods. We're now left staring down the barrel and it's all a bit too late. As the old saying goes - you don't get relegated in one game, you get relegated over the season. We're now asking a group of players (I would hesitate to call them a team - good individuals though they are) to pull it together against sides who are either very good or who, traditionally we have never fared very successfully against. If it was going to happen, it should've happened by now. I know we're not in the relegation zone, but frankly, our survival is now implausible.
"implausable" I think you need to look up what that means. Our survival is relatively likely at this juncture. Defeat on Saturday and results go against us and it looks very dodgy.
Seriously? Do we have to roll this out in detail? We have a more difficult run in than the other two sides in the cack. We have one extra game - in a promotion shoot out games in hand count for everything because you win the games you play. In a relegation fight they only count if you can get a result. We have pretty shocking form this season away from home - and only one game at home left, and it's Wolves, who want the title. I heard on the radio today that we've only won three games since the new year? With us all being on equal points, I think we now need two wins. We have a dreadful manager who is starting to unravel and couldn't even face the media today. Again - and fully understanding what the word 'implausible' means I assure you - I believe that our survival is implausible. Don't get me wrong - I love the club and I want to believe that we will survive - I'm just looking at it pragmatically.
I'd rather have a superior goal difference and a game in hand than not.
What seem difficult games can often yield surprise results.
Cant see the point in defeatism from either the management nor supporters.
We were unlucky to not to win at derby, unlucky not to win at watford. Cant see why its so improbable we'll get 6 points from 4 games.

RE: How on earth is it clutching at straws Cos we've won 3 games only in 2009. We have a manager who's completely confused all and sundry with his baffling tactics. We have a keeper whose lost all confidence but the manager still plays him. We've a defence that can't keep a clean sheet and strikers that can't hit a barn door. Our away record is abysmal and three of our remaining four games are away. Oh and our one remaining home game is against the champions elect. That's why. It gives me no pleasure at all to say it, but we are going down. Just get used to it. It's realism not defeatism.
We had 3 games in hand a few weeks ago. We were 2 places above were we are now!
If we lose our game in hand could we drop into the bottom 3?
