And I have said this all along with my occasional posts... the Hill/flitcroft management team are potentially very good. I bought my season ticket on the hope that they would produce and it gradually seems to be the case that the team is improving game on game, not just with results but with footballing. With this in mind can all the people who are sat behind me in the East Stand who were constantly moaning about lower league players and lower league managers after the Southampton and Middlesbrough games please be brave enough to stand up and say, at least, that the entertainment value is much improved...? That would be a start by the early season, short-sighted doom-mongers. Do some people give a manager a chance I ask myself?
Hello pilot, I agree 100% with what you say, I've backed Hillcroft from day 1, I think we are on a steady climb to being a regular top 8 club. Where abouts do you sit, I'm Gangway 5 ESL. The majority that sit round me are quite sensible in their support, but there are a few idiots that still shout ''GERRIT FORRARD'' when we are playing it round the back four in order to draw the opposition out.
