Can I please introduce you all to our new arrival......

Born at 1.40am on Monday 25th September 2006, weighing in at 7 Pound and 9 Ounces.
it is with great pleasure to announce to the world and this BBS, Jay, our first child

the minute he can walk he will be having a pair of boots and a ball

 

I have had a few proud moments in my life, but none that comes close to this.

I can't shout it out loud enough.

Sounds a bit mushy I know, but I feel so happy I get a lump in my throat just looking at him (only other time I had a lump and a tear in the eye at being happy was when we got promoted to the prem, and that is way behind this now)

I was given some advice about it may take a few days or so to begin to get that attached feeling, and I have to say, it took minutes.

Best feeling in the world by far!!

I had my uncle to the left (he had some glasses on) of me and my dad to the right (had a bit of a "sunroof") and my coat was wrapped around my chair most of the match which showed my Barnsley Top off, and the name on the back was "NEZ" with a number 9.

I beleive you had a rather chunky gold ring or 2 on your hands and sat next to a blonde bird

If you struggle to remember, I am sure I can dig out a photo somewhere with me on it....

he's got a right pair of lungs on him we just found that out the last 5 minutes. Up till know he has been good as gold and no problems, but just belted out a right ear stinger.

I just know if he follows in his dads footsteps I better start saving up for it nowff

hope I didn't offend you down in cardiff, but when colgan saved that last penalty I couldn't help myself but grab hold of everyone in sight, and when I turned round to join in the celebrations of my fellow fans, you were slightly crouched down and all I could see was the top of your head, hence grabbing hold of it and shaking it whilst shouting "get f'' in there"ff

I took it you were ok with it anyway, otherwise I might of got your chunky gold ring in my eye (Y)

thanks...I'm sure he will, although I am under no illusion of the massive lifestyle change, tonight is the first time I have been able to really do a couple of things for myself.

Oh, and today, I also recevied a crash course in how to use the washing machine, something has really got into me today, I have done alsorts that I never new how much work was involved....

Sorry lads of the BBS, but I think I have just hit the "cue the women" button

 

oh yes....

Monday night was a cracker, but somehow getting up to get through to the hospital the morning after with a stinker of a headache wasn't really well thought out though.

Was also planning a second session the night after, but they were discharged and let home, so that put paid to that.
