Putting tickets on sale to ST holders with 1,2,3 cup stubs etc and just putting them on sale to ST holders in general. Say there's 5,000 ST holders and they all buy a ticket, by general sale, we'll have sold the same amount regardless. So why **** about putting tickets on sale at different times, when they can just have ST holders, then members etc then general sale. Same thing init, just more complicated.
I asked yesterday how many ST holders there were, was told about 6500 Fact that it says subject to availability would suggest we have more ST holders than available MC tickets
We've got more season ticket holders than there are tickets for the Man City game. If all season ticket holders bought a Man City ticket some of those fans who went to the previous rounds might miss out. This way they won't.
It certainly makes it easier for the club to plan,it guarantees no more than 1500(if thats how many went to Hull) on the first day of sales
Well they might if they forget what day they're supposed to be at the box office. And if they do remember that means they'd have been there early enough anyway! :S
Re: Name this tune Does it look vaguely like a Sheffield utd shirt with an A4 piece of paper stapled to it, stating "I saw us against burnley" written in crayon?
I know quite a lot of fans who go to away matches who don't have season tickets cos they just enjoy the day out. Be lucky if there's more than 1,000 who have both a season ticket and went to all three cup games.
