We started with Devaney on the right and Shuker on the left. We played that way until Swansea scored, then they switched wings. As soon as we got back in front, they switched back again.

    a. Why did they play in unfamiliar positions to start with.
    b. When it was clear that the team played better with them back in their normal position, why were they switched back.

Shuker has been critisised for pushing Trundle left for the Swansea second goal. He may have been confused because he was playing on an unfamiliar side.

    maybe...

maybe for the goal chris did what you get taught to do from an early age.. bring the wide man in field so he cant cross.

unfortunately he wasnt the wide man and he is left footed. oops.

I wondered that too. We looked far better with Shuker on the right & Devaney on the left.

Note to Ritchie, if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!

Maybe it was tactical. He may have fancied Devaney going at Williams early on in the game.

I would give Mcpharland a start for either Devaney/Shuker. Lets see what the lad can do.

Maybe so, but surely when seeing how much better we played with them back in their usual positions, something should have told him to stick with it & ditch the original plan.
