How was Frimpongs second foul a yellow, and Mellis got a straight red they looked like same sort of challenge from where i was sitting, its still baffling me more then 24 hours latter.

I think one of two things happened. Either the ref sent Mellis off for intent due to what had just happened or he had a poor view and from his angle it looked two footed

When I was in the ground I thought it was a sending off (Mellis). But i saw it again this morning on Player and not for me.it was one footed. The way he went in wasn't the best but a straight red pppffffttttt

Frimpong again, the way he went in but the actual contact wasn't much.

don't really get what you mean. he'd already booked frimpong, so it was a second yellow. jacob's hadn't already been booked, and it was a straight red offence...i'm probably missing the point though

Frimpong was an adding up of fouls. Mellis a forest challenge no idea why he got sent off.

What i'm saying is their ether both reds or both yellows, because they where the same sort of challenge

I don't think they were the same at all. One was a dive in which the ref saw as dangerous and the other was wrapping his legs around a player but without the force or diving

Mellis had studs up and both feet off the ground. Cast iron red card.

The 2nd Frimpong tackle was poor, he came through the back of the lads legs, have seen straight reds given for those. Mellis had to ho on today's rules, even though contact was minimal.

Mellis had one foot on the ground and got the ball. Even by today's standards a great tackle.

No problem with the red cards really, but if the ref gives the pen 30 seconds earlier Mellis doesn't get sent off - Simples. Maybe we even win the game.

He's running Luke. When you're running, at certain stages through your running action you have both feet off the ground. I'd like to know, when you're running, how you get from that in to a sliding tackle without both feet coming off the ground, because I don't believe it can be done. When he makes the tackle both feet are not off the ground and it's one footed.

Oh and, both the other blokes feet who is going in to the tackle are off the ground too! And the other Wednesday player in the picture. Because that's what happens when human beings run.
