I have a K750i and my memory card is a 64kb san disk memory card duo, but i have a problem. When i insert it into my phone, the phone freezes and then shuts down. Also when i put it into my computer to add files, i hear the sounds that says its inserted, but then when i go onto my computer and open the drive with the card in, it says Card needs to be formatted. I am meant to be able to format it from my phone, but with my phone freezing when i insert the card, i cant. If anyone else has had this problem, or if anyone can help, please tell me!!! Sounds like the card needs formatting anyway. So if you have no 'valuable' data on it format it on the computer when it asks.
When you stick the card in the computer, it'll appear as a drive in "My Computer". Right click on it and format is on the context menu that appears.</p> You'll lose any data on it though. If it's not a new card it might be fecked.</p>
about 2 months, and i got it from tesco's for £116. My dad has rung the tescos help line, and they told him to have a look on the sony website and it tells you how to there, but cant find anything
As daft as it sounds, you are putting it in the phone the right way around? I can't see how you can format it without putting it in your phone. Unless you know of someone else with the same phone so you can try it on theirs?
