    to uninstall MSN messenger. My git of a lad has put it on my machine and I can't get shut !!!

    You will have to format your machine and start again. You can't get rid of it :D

    If you are on XP click start. in the run box copy and paste this:

    RUNDLL32 ADVPACK.DLL,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\MSMSGS.INF,BLC.Remove

    Should do the trick
