mad as it seems apart from burtons stats, that are over too fewer games to be judged against past managers, even with the bad run of losses this season, L J is our best win percentage manager since 1999, when you look it makes dire reading , an whole generation watching bad Barnsley teams

Four JPT wins make it look better. And this is the third tier so not comparable to many of the others, especially the more recent managers. It's absurd that he's surviving really. It's not patience or supportive on the boards part, it's an unwillingness to admit they ****** up in February. I hope he turns it around obviously but my faith in that occurring diminishes every week.

Two things distort the stats so comparison to other recent managers is difficult:
1: His wins in the JPT
2: We're in the third division.

me too, especially when wigan set up in a system to beat 4 - 4 - 2 , by packing midfield with runners ,using the lone striker as a pivot and our narrow back 4 get dragged about leaving massive gaps, massive credit to Hammill and Watkins for tracking back to help, Hammill ran and ran on Saturday, L J did nothing , didn't change a thing, hourihane and pearson chasing shadows all match , why he didn't switch straight to 4- 5 -1 to match wigan, he only knows , he as no plan B, if teams turn up and don't play the way he as set up for all week in training

three things. You forgot the run of 4 wins on the bounce when he was first appointed when he was riding the upturn in fortunes that came from burton and heckys time in charge. Before he got time to squeeze the confidence out of the side with his negativity. Those 4 wins are credited to his record. For at least 1 of them he would barely have known the players names. Without those 4 wins his record is more like 28%
