    although my memory is gerrin proper ***** where we dint manage a shot on target even in games when we were totally outclassed.

    Can anyone remember any and give me owd brain a jolt?

    It were a serious question, I can remember games under Wilson where we created little on our travels but managed to get at least one on target.

    Maybe Hull away a few seasons ago?

    For the record, 5 shots on target against Fleetwood. 1 on target for the Preston and Sheff Utd games combined. 4 on target v Coventry. 3 on target v Crewe. The one time we've beaten the Fleetwood game at home since we sacked Wilson was the Walsall game where we got 6 on target.

    Swindon and MKD away we had 1 on target.

    The more recent ones I'm thinking of are away at Donny (1) and home to Oldham when the only shot on target was the goal.

    Against Crewe in the cup early season we had 20 efforts at goal, 9 on target and lost 2-0. In the league we had 12 efforts at goal, 3 on target and won 2-0. Go figure.
