Quite a few cops on Donny Rd pulling people over checking for Drink Drivers, need there money for Xmas Do, do they?
I agree that they are Idiots mate who D&D but they don't usually do regular checks like they are doing tonight, on Donny Rd anyway
Maybe THEY'RE raising money to send you back to school And I'm pretty sure they'd have organised and paid for their Christmas do a few months ago.
High profile and raising awareness. Hopefully stopping a few idiots who may be tempted to get back into car after the works Christmas party. if your not one of these idiots, then you have nothing to worry about.
If you don't drink n drive you would have nothing to fear would you I would like to think that they are trying to prevent the carnage that the selfish drink drivers cause every year Good on em Do you agree ?
No, not motorists. Just the reckless selfish ones, putting innocent people's lives at risk. I'd happily be stopped for a random breath test. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't drink and drive, but do you not think that people will be pissed up in town causing trouble assaulting people and get away scot free due to the police singling out the Motorists?
Ah the other group of morons Cannot take their ale and need a fight They tend to cause minor skirmishes The drunken muppets kill You never answered my question
If people behaved and didn't act like fcukin idiots, the police wouldn't be spread so thin. There's also CCTV covering every inch of town, and the odd skirmish usually ends in seconds with no real harm done. Drink drivers, meanwhile, kill people and wreck lives. So if you're asking which is the most important - drink drivers, hands down
Having seen first hand the after effects of drink drivers (all year round) I'm all for such campaigns. The revenue generated doesn't go anywhere near the old bill however their real motive is road safety and nothing else. Yes, an easy target perhaps but drink drivers make themselves the easy target.
RBT's all over Australia, all year round including mornings, and they target big events like a race meeting or footie match to catch people leaving after having a couple of coldies. D&D kills, must be stopped. Lived in Australia for 5 years, stopped for a RBT on average once every 2 months. No big deal, blow into a tube and on your way after a couple of minutes. (Much shorter hold up than being stuck in traffic after a major accident). Lived in England 40 years, been stopped once. RBT's in UK no where near as widespread as they should be.
