    No, loan signings can't play against the team they are contracted to.

    its a clause in the loan contract, it will have been decided when he joined us, my bet is no he can't play.

    The laws had to be stipulated at the time, and it was allowed at the time. Now the rules have been changed to automatically block the player from playing against the club that employs them.
