Can we get Cauley a better captains armband

    He spends more time messing with it than Barry Bannon does flattening his 3 strands of hair
    It must ride down or be uncomfy or summat as he is either twisting it ,moving it back up or down every 5 minutes,can’t be good for concentrating on game

    As RedVesp has said, being the longest serving player doesn’t make you the obvious leader.

    It obviously means a lot to him. Good.

    But I’d have given it to Helik. Or the as yet unsigned experience in midfield maybe…

    I bet he finds wearing a mask really difficult. Not a 'turn it into a lockdown thread' type of comment just an observation, I bet he's lack that. Seems to struggle with clothes that are tight or semi tight on him

    It depends on if that’s why he’s fiddling though. I have horrendous superstitions (that I know are completely wrong) when watching football, for example I constantly check my ring is not twisted to the side about 100 times a match, particularly at key attacking or defending moments but that has nothing to do with comfort. I’ve not seen him outside of football but it appears he fiddles when stressed, possibly as a calming gesture (like goalies get a drink of water after a mistake). I’m sure I’ve seen a pic of him in skinny jeans and they’re pretty tight.

    Footy fans are ruthless,lol wen he starts scoring regular again,aswell as heading off the line he can fiddle wi wat he wants.if he scores an hat trick against big vals side he'll be a legend.i hope he does brilliant for us and we have him all of his career,we dont know how he talks to players off the pitch bit I'm tipping that has alot to do wi it,i also think the captain gets abit more money which keeps them happy,helik will be getting cashed in soon,we have to sell to build.we seem to produce good defenders.
